Nissan hits milestone.

Nissan produced its 50,000th Leaf in its British Sunderland facility this month. Production of both electric cars and assembly of batteries started in 2013 and the European-built Nissan Leaf is currently exported to 23 markets worldwide. 2,000 work on the EV at the plant.
