No less than 45,326 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles roamed British streets at the beginning of the year. That is more than double compared to the beginning of 2015. The most popular car is by far the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (16,100 units), followed by the Nissan Leaf (11,219 units).
