A Model S driver has been caught red-eyed by a fellow road user, who filmed the man asleep behind the wheel – in Autopilot mode. Tesla was quick to say that in cases in which the car cannot decide autonomously anymore, the Autopilot would try to alert the driver or take the EV to the side of the road.
