This May 6,526 BEVs were sold in the U.S. which is a slight loss of 7.5 percent compared to the same month last year. Hybrids are in even sharper decline with sales standing at 30,573 units, 24.1% less. Plug-in hybrids however, show strong demand and a 25,7% plus amounting to 5,619 PHEV sold.
