Reading tip: Japan now has a what might be the first “toilet-to-tank” fuelling station. The sewage plant turns biogas into hydrogen fuel for FCVs. Right now, as many as 65 cars fill up there per day – it could be as many as 600 if all the biogas was harnessed.

Click tip: The U.S. Department of Energy has released a graphic showing the number of plug-in electric vehicles per 1,000 residents per state. California (of course) takes the lead with 4.68 PEV/1,000 residents, followed by Hawaii with just under three plug-ins.
