Just 1,791 Germans have opted for the State’s buyers premium for electric cars one month after its introduction. French Renault Zoe is the favourite with 424 units sold followed by the BMW i3 (339), Kia Soul EV (88), and Nissan Leaf (83). VW only shows with 69 Golf GTE among the top three sold PHEV. Maybe the Volkswagen distribution is too busy taking back diesels?
