Battery Capacity of sold Plug-in Electric Vehicles.
From 0.4m to 3.8m kWh is the increase in total capacity of battery packs sold for PEV in the USA since 2011. The number of power packs decreased by 3.4 percent in 2015 compared to 2014, says the DoE. Yet, the total capacity grew by 22.6%. The trend points to batteries becoming ever more powerful.
