EV sales in the U.S.

The number of EVs sold in August was 64.6 percent higher in the U.S. in August than in the same period of last year. A total of 8,601 all-electric cars found new owners across the States, while 6,372 PHEV (+67%) and 32,206 HEVs (+14.4%) rolled off the lot this past month. The total number of plug-in cars in the U.S. has now surpassed 500,000.
