“We will have a Kodiaq hybrid very shortly after a Superb hybrid. It will be in China first, as that is the biggest market, but Europe soon after.”

Pawan Goenka, executive director of Mahindra, sees mild hybrids as benefitting the environment only slightly. He therefore goes a completely different way as competitor Maruti Suzuki, which sees EVs as more of a niche market “at best.”
