Gigafactory 2, eRod, EVs compared.

Reading tip I: Since Elon Musk promised to build a Gigafactory in Europe, more and more countries bring forward their bid. The latest are the Netherlands but whether they can beat a Facebook group with 40,000 members calling for Tesla to set up shop in Portugal remains to be seen., (Portugal)

Reading tip II: Meet the eRod, a fast and small electric vehicle made by Kyburz from Switzerland. The firm also builds the DXB, a three-wheeled EV used by the Swiss mail but the eRod is an entirely different story and all about racing.

EV competition: Autocar grouped the most common electric cars together in order to compare them thoroughly. The best turned out the BMW i3 followed by the VW e-Golf, the Hyundai Ioniq EV and last the Nissan Leaf as its younger competitors have simply “moved the game on.”
