Hawaii has registered its 5,000th electric car. Overall, EVs make up 0.3 percent of the market share – which is the second highest result per capita in the U.S., surpassed only by California. Moreover, energy companies there kicked off “Drive Electric Hawaii,” which aims to promote electric transport and make it easier to install charging.
