BMW sets electric car sales record.

BMW says it sold more than 62,000 electrified vehicles worldwide in 2016. With the start of the PHEV versions of the 5-series and Mini Countryman in the next months, the carmaker will have nine at least partially electric cars in its portfolio and hopes to increase EV sales to 100,000 units in 2017.
