Sweet revenge.
A VW Golf owner in the U.S. wanted VW to pay him back for his car. According to a nationwide court-ordered buyback, the car has to be operable. It can do that without doors or any other knick-knack, the owner thought, and stripped it of nearly everything. Needless to say, VW wasn’t too happy, saying that stripping the car “wasn’t in the spirit of the buyback.”
