Nottingham goes electric: 13 electric buses by BYD make for the first electric Park&Ride service in Great Britain. It is also the biggest council-run fleet on the Isles. The new models add on to Nottingham’s existing fleet of 45 electric buses, which the city intends to expand.

Alphabet doubles PEV fleet: The leasing firm issued 3,619 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in the UK last year. The Alphabet PEV park has thus grown to 7,000 in total, twice as many as a year ago. This means the comany had a hand in about ten percent of all British plug-ins granted in 2016.

EV incentives in Korea expanded: 101 provinces are eligible for the plug-in grant of 14m won (about 12m USD) since this year compared to 31 districts in 2016. This extension means that electric car buyers can get federal and local funding of up to 26m won (22,400 USD).

Tesla in Taiwan: The Model S has become available in Taiwan, where the EV maker already opened the first Supercharger at the Taipei Expo Park. More charging opportunities shall follow in Taichung, Tainan und Kaohsiung.
