10m hybrids

Toyota cracked the 10m hybrid mark as cumulative sales reached 10.5m units worldwide at the end of January. Toyota launched the Coaster Hybrid EV in August 1997 and the Prius 4 months later. The 10m milestone was achieved nine months after total sales reached 9m units at the end of April 2016.
