Reading tip: The threshold of 2m EVs and PHEVs has been exceeded at the end of last year, according to the IEA’s ‘Global EV Outlook’ 2017. Foremost, more than 750,000 PHEVs hit the streets in 2016 globally. Yet, this considerate amount still represents just 0.2% of the total number of cars in the world.
