While they just found an agreement at Mercedes’ (see above), tensions under Audi’s roof are rising: The company’s labour boss Peter Mosch openly urges the management to create a roadmap regarding the electric future of the German sites like those in Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm with a united 60,000 employees.

Narayan-Raja“We will continue with this journey of hybrid vehicles in India. Our commitment remains the same, and we believe that this technology is good for the environment.”

Says Narayan Raja, Senior Vice President and Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, and thus affirms that Toyota will continue to sell HEVs in India despite the introduction of the new Goods and Service Tax (GST) that makes these vehicles more expensive.
