While usually high costs and insufficient charging infrastructure are considered the reasons for low EV sales figures, Transport & Environment clearly blames the car manufacturers. The Brussels-based organisation criticise among others a missing choice of EVs and that those few offered are sometimes not even available (e.g. Opel Ampera-e).
