Electric-powered tractor by Fendt (Video)
The German manufacturer is currently putting its electric compact tractor e100 Vario on display at the Agritechnica in Hannover. Ahead of the model’s market launch in the upcoming year, Fendt has released a video clip of the tractor and gives some technical details.
Thus, the e100 Vario comes with 50 kW power output and a battery capacity of 100 kWh – enough for five hours of operation, according to the manufacturer. Through fast-charging, the e100 Vario is said to recharge its battery up to 80 percent within 40 minutes. Additionally, the model offers two power interfaces for electrical equipment and is able to provide a short-term boost of up to 150 kW.
