Vanderhall puts three-wheel roadster in the spotlight

Engineers of U.S. manufacturer Vanderhall Motor Works have developed a formidable roadster with electric drivetrain called Edison 2. It shall honour an early 1900’s EV partnership between Thomas Edison and Henry Ford.

The three-wheeler provides two seats and is said to reach up to 320 km on a single charge. Moreover, its two electric motors with a system output of together 132 kW shall enable a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in four seconds. Maximum speed is 169 km/h. Last but not least, the vehicle features a 30 kWh Li-ion battery pack.

Pricing for the vehicle’s base version starts at 34,950 U.S. dollars, the order books have just been opened. First deliveries are planned for the second quarter of 2018.
