Seat to unveil new electric touring racer in Geneva

Seat will present their new CUPRA e-racer at the Geneva Motor Show, which will feature a 300 kW normal performance and 500 kW top performance. It will be used in the also recently announced touring race Serie E-TCR.

The world first electric touring race car was announced just in time to be the likely first contestant in the world first dedicated electric touring championship. The performance has been documented as 408PS (402hp) continuous power while the vehicle allows for a peak of up to 680PS (670hp). It has a 65kWh battery, while the design is reminiscent of the Cupra Leon TCR touring car.

The Cupra E-Racer will also feature an advanced digital cockpit, which will assist drivers in a variety of ways. Further information regarding the E-TCR is expected to follow during the next week.
