Central Park electrifies in style

The Turkish company Fayoto has received an order for 300 electric carriages, which will be used in New York’s Central Park as a replacement for horse-drawn carriages.

Whether they are cleaner than a biological engine is debatable, but the cleanup on the roads will certainly be easier. The measure had initially been floated as early as 2014.
