Elon Musk appeared on the US comedy show Saturday Night Live last weekend and also brought the Tesla Cybertruck to New York. Meanwhile, Tesla’s competitors tried to capitalise on the attention via the advertising slots.
While Elon again relied on his personality for marketing, the show featured commercials for the Lucid Air, Audi E-tron, Ford Mustang Mach-E and VW ID.4. It seems the appearance was well used by the automobile industry.
