Porsche adds 97,000 ChargePoint stations to US charging service

Porsche has integrated over 97,000 ChargePoint and partner stations into its Porsche Charging Service, expanding its US network to more than 102,000 locations. It expects further rollouts in 2025.

The new network includes ChargePoint, EVgo, Flo, EV Connect, EvGateway and Ionna—all accessible through the ‘My Porsche’ app. The app enables users to find, use, and pay at compatible J1772 and CCS1 chargers from various providers. Customers on the Porsche Charging Service Premium plan or in their inclusive charging period can access the new stations immediately. Base plan users will be granted access later in summer 2025.

Porsche and ChargePoint already announced their agreement last summer. At the time, it was said that the integration of the EV chargers would be completed in Q4/2024 and would bring the number of EV charging stations in the US available through the Porsche charging service to a total of 86,000.

The update follows Porsche’s strategy to offer broader charging flexibility and increased accessibility for customers of its electrified vehicles, including the Taycan and upcoming electric Macan. It builds on Porsche’s existing collaboration with Electrify America and supports the brand’s continued focus on scaling electric mobility infrastructure in North America.

“This is a significant milestone for Porsche and the electric vehicle journey,” said Timo Resch, President and CEO of PCNA. “We know flexibility and choice are important. As more customers purchase electrified Porsche vehicles, we are dedicated to giving them the seamless charging experience they expect.”
