Nine hours for 130 miles in a Porsche

A couple from Kent said it took more than nine hours to drive 130 miles home from Bournemouth as they struggled to find a working charger. Most were either broken, occupied or too slow to provide a meaningful charge on the powerful EV.

Iberdrola & Porsche build charging parks in Spain

Porsche and the Spanish energy supplier Iberdrola have announced the construction of 35 HPC parks with six to eight charging points each in Spain. Twenty sites are expected to be put into operation next year, with the remaining 15 charging parks to follow in 2022.

Porsche Cayenne PHEVs to receive larger battery

Porsche has increased the capacity of the high-voltage battery in the plug-in hybrids of the Cayenne. Thanks to optimised cells, the gross capacity increases from 14.1 kWh to 17.9 kWh, resulting in a range increase of around 30 per cent.
