Specifically, this means GreenWay will install 279 charging points at 48 locations in Poland and 89 charging points at 20 locations in Slovakia. 80 per cent of the stations are planned to deliver up to 400 kW. According to the company, this will be one of the largest charging infrastructure investments in its history.

With the completion of the project, GreenWay will have doubled the capacity of its network to a total of 75 MW. The company plans to put the infrastructure into operation by the end of 2025. The first locations have already been activated, with nine locations in Poland and another 23 in Slovakia.

The installation is part of the Cross-E initiative, which aims to install fast charging infrastructure across eight European countries, and is co-financed by the European Union.

“With these investments, we are building a network that provides fast and reliable charging. We want to make life easier for drivers when they are on the road and away from their home wallbox,” said Michal Mydlo, Country Manager at GreenWay Slovakia, adding: “Coordinating the construction of two dozen locations in different parts of Slovakia while maintaining full network functionality was a challenge for the entire company. I am proud that we managed to complete the project without compromise and within the set deadline.”
