Lucid Gravity Grand Touring deliveries kick off in Canada
electrive previously covered the specs of the Lucid Gravity; this is a full-size SUV measuring 5.04 metres long, 2.20 metres wide and 1.66 metres high. The wheelbase is 3.04 metres. There are three rows of seats for seven people, yet the vehicle is said to offer plenty of space for luggage; the company states it delivers up to 3400 litres of cargo space. The Lucid Gravity is based on the Lucid Air electric saloon and, according to the manufacturer, offers the ‘performance of a sports car’. This is reflected in a 617 kW engine and acceleration from zero to 100 kph in just 3.6 seconds.
The battery in the Lucid Gravity Grand Touring, the first model available in Germany, has a capacity of 123 kWh and a WLTP range of 748 km. To enable particularly high charging speeds, the vehicle has a 926-volt architecture. This should make it possible to recharge the Grand Touring to a range of 400 km in just 14 minutes – with a relatively stable charging curve.
Canadian customers are able to customise their own Lucid Gravity Grand Touring through a configurator tool on the company’s website, but no word on delivery timeframes just yet. Erwin Raphael, VP of Revenue at Lucid Group, said: “There has been great anticipation for the Lucid Gravity in Canada. It offers space for up to seven adults and their luggage. It can handle even the most challenging conditions, making it ideal for extended road trips.”
In September, the Grand Touring version of the Lucid Gravity also became available to buy in Europe – again, with deliveries set for early 2026. In Germany, prices start at €116,900 with leasing options available from €1,169 per month.
