Torqeedo is currently presenting this revamped product range at Metstrade 2025 (November 18 to 20) in Amsterdam. The focus of the trade fair presentation is on the latest Cruise models. On a technical level, the motors are connected to Torqeedo’s component ecosystem thanks to their new 48-volt platform. This means, for example, they are now compatible with Torqeedo’s larger 5 kWh batteries. Additionally, a new foldable tiller with a high-resolution display provides extra comfort on the water. It also features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing users to access real-time performance and other system-related data via an app if they wish.

“With the upgraded Cruise motors, we combine comfort and innovation in harmony with nature,” says Heiko Vietmeier, CEO of Torqeedo. “We have also taken a holistic approach to production: up to 95% of the shaft head components are made from recycled ocean plastic.”

Also on display in Amsterdam is a new entry-level drive from the Travel Family product range called Travel XS. With an output of 700 watts, the drive is ideal for smaller boats. Torqeedo offers it as an option in a package with a new Travel Battery XS (648 Wh). This Smart Package is expected to be available from spring 2026.

Another new product presented by the manufacturer is the Intelligent Control Unit (ICU) and Power Distribution Unit (PDU) for its “Deep Blue” series. These enable intelligent control of all system elements for 400V or 800V with an output of up to 400 kW. Their plug-and-play design allows for particularly easy, fast, and safe installation and ensures seamless integration into existing systems, according to the manufacturer.

Visitors can experience the new product range from Torqeedo and Yamaha Motor at the trade fair in Hall 6, Booth 06.212/06.210.
