Mercedes reveals US pricing for electric CLA
Just as in Germany and elsewhere, there are two variations hitting the US market: the 2026 CLA 250+ EQ and the CLA 350. The first variant has a starting price tag of $47,250 USD, with the latter costing upwards of $49,800; by way of comparison, the CLA 250+ starts at €55,858 euro (approx $64,720 USD) in Germany, suggesting cheaper up-front prices for US customers.
There’s no word yet on when the Mercedes configurator will open or when purchases can begin; however, Mercedes USA has confirmed that the new CLA will have an official press launch in December, “with the first vehicles hitting US roads shortly after and the volume progressively ramping up through the first quarter of 2026.”
As in Europe, there are only two drivetrain options available, both of which use the 85kWh NMC battery pack that delivers roughly the same performance in terms of charging time and capacity. The entry-level variant uses rear-wheel drive, while the 350 features all-wheel drive; this delivers some performance variations.

For example, drivers can expect <374 miles range for the 250+, but only 312 miles for the CLA 350; however, the 350 delivers 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds versus the 250+’s 6.6 seconds. Further technical details of the new CLA were revealed at the car’s world premiere earlier this year, which electrive covered extensively.
Unlike its European counterpart though, the US version of the CLA features three – rather than two – trims. The Standard trim features an MBUX infotainment system, heater power front-seats, a range of ‘digital extras’, a panoramic glass roof, LED headlines, blind spot assist, lane keeping function, and more.

The Exclusive Trim includes all standard features plus ‘flush-fitting’ power door handles, keyless ignition, MB.DRIVE parking assist, 64-colour ambient lighting, and dual-zone climate control. Finally, the Pinnacle trim features all of the above plus MB DRIVE’s 360-degree parking assist feature, a digital vehicle key, hands-free access, a heads-up display, and a power closing trunk. No pricing has yet been revealed for these trims, although it’s likely this will be announced at the CLA’s press launch in December.
