Serbian Post procures 216 electric scooters
The Serbian Post has not disclosed the investment amount for the procurement. According to media reports, the cost of the new electric scooters comes to approximately 128 million dinar (around 1.1 million euros). The postal organisation has also not provided details about the manufacturer or the technical specifications of the e-scooters.
According to the news portal Beta, the e-scooters are powered by a 3.94 kW electric motor and can reach speeds of up to 45 kph. Their swappable batteries are said to enable ranges of up to 120 kilometres. Additionally, the vehicles can transport up to 300 kg of cargo. These specifications could correspond to the model ‘N Moto NCF D,’ which is available in Serbia under this name.
The 216 new vehicles will be deployed nationwide, particularly in rural areas, for the delivery of postal items. According to Pošta Srbije, they enable more efficient deliveries compared to internal combustion engine two-wheelers and contribute to cost savings. The new delivery fleet is also intended to ‘improve working conditions for employees.’

However, these are not the first electric delivery vehicles in the fleet. As early as summer 2023, the postal organisation introduced its first 31 battery-electric vans. At the beginning of 2024, an additional 95 battery-electric vans were added. Following this latest procurement—the largest of battery-electric delivery vehicles to date—the fleet is set to expand by 100 electric cars by the end of the year and over 200 additional electric vehicles by March 2026. Pošta Srbije has not provided further details about these plans. The same applies to the announced charging stations at post office branches, which are also intended to be available to the public.
