Arnold Clark Charge opens 60th UK location
The charging network itself is based out of Arnold Clark dealerships across the UK, which offer new and used vehicles for sale as well as fleet and auto repair services. The network was first announced in 2024 as part of a £30 million investment by the car retailer – the UK’s largest – and formally opened in 2025.
With Arnold Clark previously announcing plans for chargers at 100 locations, the 60th site marks a major step towards this goal. It’s located at Arnold Clark’s Wolverhampton Motorstore at the Pantheon Park development, and is open to the public. Featuring ‘ultra-rapid’ chargers up to 150kW, it costs 55p per kWh – an undoubtedly competitive rate for fast charging in the UK.
Payments can be made via the Arnold Clark app or via contactless payments. Customers are also invited into the branch for a free coffee while their car charges.
Pablo Levi, Group Sustainability Manager at Arnold Clark, said: “The opening of our Wolverhampton site is a proud milestone for Arnold Clark Charge as it becomes our 60th location across the UK. Our aim is to make EV charging straightforward, cost-effective and widely accessible, whether customers are driving locally or travelling further afield. By investing in ultra-rapid charging at important locations like this, we’re supporting the shift to electric vehicles while delivering tangible benefits for drivers and local communities.”
