RAW Charging partners with ChargePoint for 300+ UK DC fast chargers
The rollout is said to kick off this year. Under the deal, with an initial commitment valued at 7.5 million dollars, RAW Charging will extend its existing collaboration with ChargePoint as its technology partner. The new DC fast charging stations will operate on the ChargePoint Platform and be supported by ChargePoint’s Assure Pro maintenance service, designed to maximise network uptime and reliability.
According to the companies, the integrated ecosystem is intended to deliver a consistent driver experience, including station location and availability information as well as multiple payment options. These comprise contactless, app-based and roaming solutions.
The rollout forms part of RAW Charging’s ‘Connecting Amazing Places’ campaign, which focuses on destination charging at hospitality, leisure and retail sites rather than solely en-route locations. The company positions itself as a charge point operator dedicated to enabling drivers to charge while visiting high-footfall destinations.
