The car subscription platform Finn has completed a financing round of nearly €100 million euros and additional deals worth a further €40 million euros. With the fresh capital, Finn aims to finance its next growth phase by investing in its vehicle fleet, technology platform, and operational infrastructure. The funding round is led by venture capital firm Portage. Additionally, BC Partners Credit and Runway Growth Capital are contributing over €40 million in further capital. SevenVentures, the investment arm of ProSiebenSat.1, is also participating in the round through a media-for-equity deal. Following the completion of the funding, Finn’s valuation has risen to over one billion euros, achieving so-called unicorn status for the first time.

Alongside Portage, existing investors have also increased or confirmed their commitments, including UVC Partners, Planet First Partners, Korelya Capital, White Star Capital, HV Capital, and Picus Capital. Finn now generates an annual recurring revenue of over €300 million, positioning it among Europe’s fastest-growing mobility companies.

Earlier this spring, Finn announced plans to expand its vehicle fleet by 11,500 vehicles (DE). This expansion represents nearly a doubling of its fleet compared to the previous year. The company is also increasingly focusing on electrified vehicles: a company spokesperson states that over 70 per cent of the fleet is now electrified. In addition to battery-electric vehicles, the offering includes hybrid models and vehicles with internal combustion engines. Finn currently manages over 50,000 car subscriptions.

Finn was founded in Munich in 2019 and offers car subscriptions that can be registered for entirely online. Its portfolio includes vehicles from over 25 brands, such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Cupra, Opel, Hyundai, MG, and BYD. The monthly subscription covers the vehicle as well as services like insurance, registration, maintenance, and taxes. With the latest funding, Finn aims to further strengthen its position in the German market and ultimately grow into a European platform for flexible mobility.
