Volkswagen is creating a new Group Board of Management for its core brands, which will henceforth make cross-brand decisions for the high-volume quartet of VW Passenger Cars, Škoda, Seat/Cupra, and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. This restructuring is expected to generate savings of one billion euros in production alone by 2030, partly through the elimination of managerial positions.
