FAW to use Leapmotor EV platform for Hongqi models

Leapmotor has signed a deal with Chinese state-owned carmaker FAW to supply an electric vehicle platform for Hongqi-branded EVs destined for markets outside China. Similar talks are reportedly also underway with a European sports car manufacturer. (UPDATE BELOW)
