Moreover, the (Elux) Karma will not be available until mid-2016, instead of later this year, as previously announced. And the hybrid sports car will sport a hefty price tag of 135,000 dollars, about one-fifth more than the original Fisker Karma. Li-Ion cells made in Germany: German ZSW, a research centre for solar and hydrogen energy, says it has produced Li-Ion cells close to serial production on its recently completed assembly line in the city of Ulm. According to the ZSW, 23 Ah capacity puts them at level with similar cells commercially produced in Asia and the research centre strives to increase this capacity even further in the future.

Smaller than the Quant F, the low-voltage (48V) Quantino uses four 25kW electric motors to generate around 136 hp and reach a top speed of 200 km/h. With 350 litres of ionic liquid, the 2+2-seater is said to offer a range of over 1,000 kilometres. Testing is set to begin this year.
