Microvast presents new utility vehicle battery packs

Sunwoda to build battery plant with Donfeng in China

The Chinese battery manufacturer Sunwoda Electric Vehicle Battery is building a battery factory with Dongfeng in the city of Yichang in the Chinese province of Hubei. The plant will be designed for an annual production capacity of 30 GWh and is to be built in two phases.

Freyr joins Nidec in Energy Storage Solutions business

Freyr has found its first major customer for battery cells from its debut factory in Rana, Norway. The Norwegian battery company struck a deal with the Japanese Nidec Corporation to supply 38 GWh of LFP battery cells from 2025 to 2030, with the option to increase the volume.
