UK specs out for the Citroën ë-Relay & Peugeot e-Jumper

Citroën’s biggest and most capacious van is now available to order in the UK with a choice of two all-electric drivetrains. Basic prices for the battery-powered ë-Relay start from £49,335 (after the Government Plug-in-Van Grant is applied, excluding VAT).

DPD Ireland plans to utilise another 100 electric vans

DPD has announced plans to invest a further two million euros in decarbonizing its Irish fleet, with the aim of procuring 100 additional electric vehicles by the end of next year. DPD Ireland has already put 30 new electric delivery vans into service this year.

Workhorse to use CATL batteries for electric transporters

The US manufacturer Workhorse will use CATL batteries for its electric delivery vehicles in future. Workhorse now signed an agreement to this effect with Coulomb Solutions, the North American distributor of commercial vehicle battery systems from the Chinese manufacturer.

Voltia to deliver 30 Nissan e-NV200 for DPD

Voltia has received an order from DPD in Slovakia for 30 Nissan e-NV200 XL in the ten cubic metre version. In a new leasing model, the electric transporters are to be cheaper for DPD than diesel vehicles.

Toyota begins European roll-out of Proace electric vans

Toyota has started the market launch of Proace Electric and Proace Verso Electric in Europe. List prices in Germany start at 41,948 euros for the Proace Electric and 58,530 euros for the Proace Verso Electric. The smaller Proace City Electric is to follow in October this year.

DHL Express buys 100 e-Ducato for Europe

DHL Express has purchased 100 of the first E-Ducato vans for its European fleet as part of a partnership with Fiat Professional. As part of Deutsche Post DHL Group’s recently unveiled sustainability roadmap, DHL Express plans to expand its delivery fleet to 14,000 electric transporters by 2030.

StreetScooter production extended til end of 2022

Deutsche Post will extend the production of its StreetScooter until at least the end of 2022. The reason for this is the high demand for the electric delivery vehicles within the group. A new variant of the electric delivery van is also planned.

Deutsche Post DHL expands electric fleets in Germany

After Deutsche Post DHL Group presented its sustainability strategy in March, the Group has now given more details on the plans for its Post & Parcel Germany division. This will include 6,500 more StreetScooter vans, 5,000 e-trikes and expanded charging infrastructure.

Tier continues to clean up e-scooter operations

Micromobility provider Tier Mobility has partnered with Ari Motors and Ono to electrify the fleet for operational use. Tier staff will employ electric transporters from Ari and cargo pedelecs from Ono to exchange the batteries and kick scooters in the fleet.

Hyzon starts production of 15 FCEVs for Groningen

The US manufacturer Hyzon Motors has started production of 15 FC vehicles for delivery to the Dutch city of Groningen. The delivery of the first vehicles is planned for the third quarter of 2021. The remaining vehicles are to follow by the end of the year.

Stellantis to deliver fuel cell transporters in 2021

The Stellantis Group has announced that three electric transporters from Opel, Peugeot and Citroën will also be offered with a fuel cell system this year, which should enable WLTP ranges of over 400 kilometres. Specifically, these are the Opel Vivaro, Peugeot Expert and Citroën Jumpy.
