Great Wall Motors opens EV factory in Brazil
Chinese car manufacturer Great Wall Motor (GWM) will open a new factory in Brazil next year. The plant will manufacture electric cars only – in the form of battery electric cars, hybrids and hydrogen-fuelled vehicles. It will be GWM’s fourth-largest manufacturing site worldwide.

Ford expects billion dollar losses over electric vehicles
Ford presented its business figures for the first quarter of 2023, breaking them down for the first time into the three core business units Ford Blue (combustion cars and hybrids), Ford Model e (electric vehicles) and Ford Pro (commercial vehicles). However, the electric car business is expected to be profitable as early as 2024.

Changan announces plans for EV factory in Thailand

Nissan to launch 19 EVs by 2030

Dubai to allow only electric taxis from 2027

Norwegian customers buy significantly less cars than usual
