Lime is withdrawing e-scooter sharing from 12 cities
The shared e-scooter supplier Lime is withdrawing from twelve cities due to lack of profitability. BYD successful in Uruguay: The BYD electric bus and e6 pure-electric taxi had been roaming the streets of the country’s capital for the past four months. Now the results are in. The e-bus made it up to 252 km (157 miles) on one charge, with an average energy consumption of 1.26 kWh per km.
Cab-sharing in NYC: Audi, MIT and GE want to find out, how sharing of New York cabs could work in practice and by how much the ridesharing program could cut emissions. To get the answers, their joint-program named HubCab will track 150 New Yorker taxis and study how ridesharing could be utilised.
