Charging park GOFAST fights fake news

Gotthard FASTcharge (GOFAST) recently opened one of Switzerland’s largest fast-charging parks at a service station, using eight Nissan Leaf batteries as a buffer. “Fake news” of a diesel generator being used circulated so stubbornly on social media, however, that GOFAST now took counteraction.

Amsterdam stadium integrates bi-directional charging

As of today, visitors to the Johan Cruijff Arena (JCA) in Amsterdam can actively contribute to the power supply of the arena with their electric cars by integrating them into the stadium’s power grid. The first of 15 bidirectional charging stations in the JCA is now officially in operation.

VOI Technology is apparently operating its electric kick scooter rental service completely emission-free in a trial city through the use of electric transporters and cargo pedelecs. Tier Mobility and Circ are also using new electric kick scooters with replaceable batteries.

Zalando tests electric deliveries in Hamburg

Zalando is testing the delivery of parcels with electric vehicles in Hamburg. For the test, which is initially limited to three months, Zalando is using electric vehicles powered by green electricity from Mercedes, Nissan, Renault and a micro delivery vehicle from Ari Motors.

Enel completes fast-charging grid EVA+ in Italy & Austria

Together with its automotive partners, Enel has completed the construction of all 200 fast-charging stations of EU project EVA+ (Electric Vehicle Arteries) in Italy and Austria. In both countries the 50 kW multi-chargers now add up to 400 charging points for all kinds of electric cars.
