Paris region introduces EV subsidies

The French capital’s Métropole du Grand Paris provides grants of up to 6,000 euros to private individuals for the purchase of alternatively fuelled vehicles (BEV, FCEV, PHEV, hybrid and natural gas) when they are used to replace an old combustion engine.

BMW points for PHEVs driving electric in the UK

New Zealand marks 5,850 EV sales so far in 2021

New Zealand’s electric vehicle registrations hit a total percentage of 6.45% last month, which is triple the first-half-2021 average. This includes only fully electric vehicles, with both PHEVs and BEVs making for 11.8% of July vehicle registrations.
