Hyundai updates Sonata Hybrid variants
Korea’s Hyundai has put the updated hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions of its Sonata on display at the Chicago Auto Show. The 2018 Sonata is made in Asan, South Korea and both hybrids are set to launch this year in the States.

Click tip: Brazilian designer Guilerme Kataoka dreams of a Porsche hyper car for the road. His 919 road car is based on renderings of the hybrid LMP1 Le Mans race.
Video tip: Hybrid Cars reviewed the Hyundai Sonata Plug-in, saying its all-electric range of 27 miles leaves competitors in the dust and justifies the additional 9,000 dollars one has to pay. One flip side: the engine is required to run the heater, even when driving in EV mode.

Workplace charging, Hyundai Sonata Hybrid & Plug-in Hybrid.
Reading tip: Plug-In America is giving tips about how to best offer charging at the workplace. It says that charging should not be free, since it could lead to ‘freeloading’ and overloading, saying it is still better when an EV driver charges at home at night, when electricity is cheap and abundant.
