Tier Mobility is planning a new scooter sharing service

Tier Mobility has acquired the approximately 5,000 electric scooters including the charging infrastructure of the discontinued sharing service Coup from Bosch. The electric scooters are initially to be launched in Berlin from May onwards. Further cities are also planned.

Nio launches production of the EC6

The Chinese electric car manufacturer Nio has started production of its third model after the ES8 and ES6. The start of production at the indebted company is also made possible thanks to a framework agreement with the city of Hefei, which is providing Nio with a billion-euro cash injection.

Nikola Tre to build electric trucks at Iveco in Germany

Iveco-owner CNH Industrial and Nikola Motor will build the Nikola Tre in battery-electric and fuel cell version at the Iveco plant in Ulm, Germany. The first e-trucks to go into production from 2021 are the battery-electric 4×2 and 6×2 vehicles. The fuel cell version is planned for 2023.

German electric vehicle startup e.GO Mobile is planning a joint venture with a Chinese company. According to e.GO boss Günther Schuh, a Chinese version of the e.GO Life will be produced there. The contracts have apparently been signed, but not yet implemented.
