Rivian to install Waypoint chargers at all Tennessee Parks

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) announced a new deal with EV automaker Rivian to install Rivian Waypoint EV charging stations at Tennessee State Parks. The goal is to have charging stations available at all 56 state parks, depending on the availability of electricity.

Tennessee to launch statewide fast-charging network

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and the state’s Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) aim to develop a statewide fast-charging network for electric vehicles. The interstate and major highways shall see a station every 50 miles.
