Matchbox is now also entering the electric era
The classic toy car brand is launching miniature versions of some electric cars. The first model is a Tesla Roadster made of 99 per cent recycled materials that will be available from 2022. Other models include the Nissan Leaf and the BMW i3 and i8 models.

Musk must have gone into his own personal ludicrous mode, or so some may have thought when the Tesla boss first mentioned a Space X trim coming up for the Roadster.
New Tesla Roadster to hit the stores by 2020
During Tesla’s semi truck event, CEO Elon Musk had a surprise up his sleeve — a new version of the Tesla Roadster. The base model will start at 200,000 Dollars. Interested parties can place their deposits today. It can seat four and travel 620 miles (1,000 km) on a single charge.
