April 2014 EV sales in the U.S.

Some 4,187 electric vehicles were sold in the U.S. in April, two percent more as in April 2013. Moreover, 4,718 plug-in hybrids and 39,430 hybrids left the dealership lots. The Nissan Leaf is once again in the lead, with 2,088 units sold, followed by the Chevy Volt with 1,548 units sold.
