In April, the UK saw 459 new plug-in cars hit the roads. With 318 vehicles being pure-electric and 141 plug-in hybrids, the numbers have increased by 189.1% and 80.8% compared to April, 2013. Plug-less hybrids accounted for 2,197 (petrol, +39.7%) and 293 (diesel, +211.7%).
