Austrian H2 pumps: Linde has started a small-series production of hydrogen fuelling stations which feature their energy-efficient ionic compressor IC90. The facility in Vienna will make 50 units per year. 28 of these H2 stations have already been sold to the Iwatani Corporation with the first put in service in Japan.

Cologne to get e-bus: Cologne’s public transport (KVB) acquired eight electric buses by VDL Bus & Coach. The 18-metre bendy buses are set to be delivered in the second half of 2015. The government of North Rhine-Westphalia will help finance the six million-euro project. KVB is one of the first companies in Germany to employ battery-electric articulated buses.

Gujarat to get electric bus: The government of the Indian state plans to electrify public transport service between the state capital Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad. State-owned Gujarat Power Corporation Limited (GPCL) is now looking for private investors to be able to purchase between 15 and 40 electric mini buses as well as charging infrastructure.
