A whooping 29,238 plug-in cars were sold worldwide in June, setting a new record. Never before have so many EVs and plug-in hybrids been sold in a single month. On top of the list is the Nissan Leaf (4,794), ahead of Tesla (3,933) and the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (3,133).
